Ashland Historic Armory - 208 Oak Street Free admission - Non-perishable food donations encouraged This year, the celebration’s theme is "The time is always right to do right. We are all tied together in a single Garment of Destiny caught in an inescapable network of Mutuality." This year’s keynote speech will be delivered by Southern Oregon University President, Rick Bailey Our celebration features messages from the community and performances by students from Southern Oregon University, Ashland High School, Ashland Middle School, Helman and Walker elementary schools, singer Nina Davis, the Rogue Valley Peace Choir, and more After the celebration, in keeping with our long-time tradition, we will march from the Armory to the downtown Plaza to hear Dr. King’s original “I have a Dream” speech. Doors open at 11:30 am Where: Historic Ashland Armory, 208 Oak St., Ashland Overflow location: Once the Armory is filled, you can watch the live stream OSF's Carpenter Hall. The show will also be live streamed on this web page. Admission: FREE, but donations are welcome. We encourage everyone to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the SOU Food Pantry.
